Welcome to my Renewable DIY Energy Blog.

Great day at Castell Coch

Great day at Castell Coch

I came back to live in the UK 2 ½ years ago, after working and living overseas for around 16 years.

Now that I’m home and have got our house and all the other million and one things sorted out, I can concentrate on something that has been nagging me for some time, that mainly being the state of our environment. I know there are a lot of things going on that are not doing our world any favours, and that we as individuals, have not much control over. However, we each can control one area that will make a difference, and that is the way we use energy, and where we get it from.

As we all know, the way forward is renewable energy, though our governments seem to be dragging their heels in that area.

Anyway, what we can all do immediately is utilise energy conservation practices in our own home, and in using our private transportation. The next step after that, if practicable, is renewable energy for our homes. Obviously DIY Green Energy is more cost effective, and more satisfying than the ready built Kind, so I would think that that is the route that most of us would prefer to take.

So, the internet being the way forward, and it really is a truly global community, there is no better way under the Sun, of contacting like minded people, who feel as passionately about our environment as I do.

I am fanatically passionate about our beautiful and maybe unique home, our planet Earth.
